Admission to the Klimaschutz-Unternehmen by State Secretary Bareiß

Förster Kunststofftechnik GmbH is one of eight new members

The nationwide pioneer initiative climate protection company has accepted eight new members: allnatura Vertriebs GmbH, Berlin Event O. Schulz & M. Worm OHG, Energiedienst Holding AG, Fliegl Fahrzeugbau GmbH, Förster Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Insel-Camp Fehmarn GmbH & Co. KG, Mayer-Kuvert-network GmbH and Symrise AG are now part of the company network. The Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Thomas Bareiß, MdB, presented the certificates for the special climate protection achievements to the award-winning companies at a virtual event in Berlin yesterday, thus underlining their commitment to ambitious climate protection targets and their ambitious agenda in energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies.


Thomas Bareiß, Parliamentary State Secretary: "The climate protection companies have voluntarily committed themselves to high climate protection and energy efficiency targets. This is exemplary. Such lighthouses impressively demonstrate that environmental protection can only be successful in cooperation with companies. I therefore encourage other companies to join the initiative!

Since 2009, the Federal Environment Ministry (BMU), the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) and the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) have been awarding prizes to companies for special climate protection commitment. The eight companies have demonstrated their achievements in corporate climate protection in a demanding admissions procedure, have been assessed by an independent expert and have been examined by a jury of experts.
