With the purchase of a new measuring microscope from OGP, Förster Kunststofftechnik GmbH is now also back at the cutting edge of measuring technology.

After the predecessor model had become somewhat outdated, the decision was made in spring 2019 to replace the existing measuring microscope from OGP with a newer model.

At the beginning of September 2019 we were able to have the new measuring microscope OGP SmartScope Flash CNC 300 installed on our premises. With a larger measuring range of 300 x 300 x 250 mm (previously 200 x 200 x 150 mm), this system is now also suitable for larger components. It is also possible to create measuring programs directly on the 3D model, so that the measurement can already be prepared before the first trial. Like the predecessor model, the new measuring microscope also has the ability to measure both optically and by touch.

Since the new measuring device is equipped with completely revised software, the new acquisition was complemented with a one-week training course for our QA staff.
