The Förster Company has been operating a quality management system according to ISO 9001 since 2005, and this year's recertification coincided with the conversion to the revised ISO 9001:2015.
With the revision of ISO 9001, greater attention has been paid to the risk and opportunity management and the context of the organization. In addition, the process-oriented approach has been brought even more into focus and, with the elimination of the previously mandatory QM manual, the documentation has been made more flexible.
In order to be prepared for the conversion to the revised ISO 9001, the entire integrated management system QUA (quality, environment, occupational health and safety) has been completely revised over the past two years. All processes were put to the test and modelled in modern software for process management and made available to the staff. Furthermore, all documents were updated, the new topics of the ISO 9001:2015 were addressed and the personal responsibility for the IMS was redefined.
In August 2017, a successful recertification according to ISO 9001:2015 was therefore achieved at the first attempt.
